Week of Women is an annual event that began in 2012, implemented by NDI with the support of USAID. The event fosters interaction, collaboration, and networking among participants with politicians, civil society leaders, opinion leaders and influencers.
Inspire - Empower - Connect
The goal is to invite future women leaders from all segments of society to participate in a week-long academy where they can discuss, learn and identify skills and techniques to become more effective in their chosen field.
Women representatives of political parties, parliament, government, local governments, academia, civil society and business will get together for one week to discuss and identify opportunities that will help women in Kosovo empower their position.
Women MPs, Municipal Assembly MPs, Political Party activists, women who plan to run for office, professors, students, businesswomen, and civil society and media representatives. Participants will reflect participation of all regions of Kosovo, cross ethnic and generations.
The National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI) is a nonprofit organization working to strengthen and expand democracy worldwide.
